Procedural / rural generalist training
Rural generalists
Rural generalists (also known as procedural GPs) are doctors who have a specialised skill in a particular area of medicine, such as obstetrics, anaesthetics, emergency medicine, paediatrics, and other disciplines.
They play an important role in servicing small rural communities who do not have staff specialists providing these services.
