How will training offers and subregion allocations be determined?
Within each NSW/ACT training region (Western NSW, North Eastern NSW and Lower Eastern NSW) there are different subregions. Applicants who are successful in being offered a training place will be allocated to a subregion on offer, and will be required to complete their GP term training within this subregion.
Training offers, and subregion allocation, will be made by on the basis of score (from stage 1 and stage 2 assessments) up to the number of training places available.
Further about our subregions and training location requirements is outlined in GP Synergy Applicant Pack, available upon signing up to our mailing list (opposite).
Will everyone be made an offer?
Offers will be determined jointly by ACRRM and GP Synergy.
As each training region may be shortlisted more applicants than there are places available, not all applicants may receive an offer in stage
Unsuccessful candidates may be able to renominate for any subsequent rounds, however it is important to note there is no guarantee of subsequent rounds, and if there are, training places and locations may be limited.
When will I know if I have been made an offer?
Applicants that attend an interview will be advised if they have been successful in being made an offer by COB 31 August 2017.
