Location

Jindabyne is located 180km (2hr 15 min drive) south of Canberra, via the Monaro Highway. It is 64 km (50 min) from the larger centre of Cooma.

The town is a popular holiday destination due to its proximity to Lake Jindabyne and ski resorts, including Thredbo and Perisher in Kosciuszko National Park.

How to get there

The closest airport is Snowy Mountains Airport which is located 16km southwest of Cooma (50 minute drive from Jindabyne). Snowy Mountains Airport provides return services from the Snowy Mountains to Sydney and is serviced by Regional Express (Rex).
