Known as the ute capital of the world, Deniliquin is situated on a tributary of the Murray River near the Victorian border of NSW.
Known locally as “Deni”, Deniliquin is a town in the Riverina region of New South Wales close to the border with Victoria, two and a half hours from Griffith. The town services a productive agricultural district with prominent rice, wool and timber industries and is home to the annual Deniliquin Ute Muster.
Deniliquin is 2 hrs 15 minutes from Narrandera Airport, offering daily flights to Sydney with Regional Express (REX) and 2 hrs 30 mins from Albury Regional Airport, which offers daily services to Sydney and Melbourne by Virgin, Qantaslink and REX.

Deniliquin holds The Guinness Book of Records world title for the most utes mustered in one place and continues to break its record each year during the annual Ute Muster Play on the Plains Festival which is held in October.

The Deniliquin Fishing Classic is a premier fishing event on the beautiful Edward River at Deniliquin and is held on the third weekend in February each year.
