Callala Bay is a small town in the Jervis Bay region on the South Coast of NSW. It is located 20 minutes from Nowra and 3 hours from Sydney (about 200 km).

There are regular City Rail services from Central Sydney that head south passing through Wollongong and terminate in northern Shoalhaven. Alternatively, the CountryLink rail service connects Canberra to Nowra via Albion Park.
Premier Transport and Murrays Coaches both offer several coach services between Sydney and Canberra to the south coast arriving in Nowra. Nowra Coaches run a bus service between Nowra and Jervis Bay.
