Congratulations to Research and Evaluation team member Dominica Moad and collaborators who have had a paper published in the Australian Journal of Primary Health!
The paper ‘Socioeconomic disadvantage and the practice location of recently Fellowed Australian GPs: a cross-sectional analysis’ draws upon data collected as part of the New alumni EXperiences of Training and independent Unsupervised Practice (NEXT-UP). The study sought to understand more about doctors who had completed their training through the Australian General Practice Training program in NSW, ACT, Tasmania or Eastern Victoria.
One aspect of NEXT-UP examined the practice location for GPs, who were 6 months – 2 years post-Fellowship, in terms of socioeconomic disadvantage.
