GP Synergy has been awarded an RACGP Education Research Grant (ERG) to conduct research into the content, characteristics and perceived usefulness of CTVs.
We will be collaborating with General Practice Training Tasmania, the Remote Vocational Training Scheme, and Northern Territory General Practice Education.
This project will help determine how CTVs can best contribute to the training of GP registrars in Australia.
What this means for you as CTV visitor
Between March and August 2020, we will be asking all visitors and registrars to complete a short (three to seven minutes), voluntary survey following each CTV. You will be emailed a link to the survey within a few days of your CTV.
Your responses and any related information will be kept strictly confidential and any information you provide will be de-identified. Further information including the information statement will be available closer to the beginning of the project in March.
The research and evaluation unit would like to thank the Hunter, Manning & Central Coast visitors who participated in the pilot study in 2019.1. Their responses and feedback were invaluable in informing this roll-out of the project to the whole of GP Synergy and to our collaborating RTOs.
