Congratulations to both the GP Synergy teams who took on the arduous Oxfam Trailwalker challenge on the last weekend in August.
After taking on the rough terrain and walking through the night, the 100 km team made up of GP supervisor Dr Joe Kent and GP registrars Drs Alice Fraser, Dasun Ganhewa and Holly Murphy made great time. Three members of the team (one retired hurt) completed the 100 km course in less than 36 hours, well within the 48 hr time limit. A fantastic effort!
The 50 km team included GP Synergy Director Dr Michael Bonning, Medical Educator Dr Marjorie Cross, GP registrar Dr Annabelle Wood, and GP Synergy staff member Sally Lucas. Michael finished the trail in great time, unfortunately the other team members retired.
