Are you interested in becoming an RLO or Reg ME?

We have a number of Registrar Liaison Officer and Registrar Medical Educator roles available. Visit our Careers with us page for more information?

Registrar Liaison Officer

Each GP Synergy subregion has a Registrar Liaison Officer (RLO) position. RLOs provide registrar advocacy, contribute to communications, participate in educational opportunities and program functions key to the transition period into and out of training.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

  • Registrar Liaison Officer – South Eastern NSW
  • Registrar Liaison Officer – Hunter, New England, Central Coast.

Registrar Medical Educator – Commencing Term 2020.2

The Registrar Medical Educators (Reg ME) role has the capacity to be used towards training in an extended skills term which would count towards training time but can also be undertaken as a registrar and not count towards training time.

The role is primarily two parts:

  • providing practical assistance and support to other GP registrars by providing mentorship and facilitating their progression through training towards completion of training
  • participate and assist in the development and implementation of educational resources.

Regardless of whether the Reg ME role forms part of training or not, given the nature of the role, registrars are required to have completed GPT2 to apply.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

  • Registrar Medical Educator – South Eastern NSW
  • Registrar Medical Educator – Western NSW
  • Registrar Medical Educator – North Coast NSW
  • Registrar Medical Educator – Murrumbidgee and ACT.
