Are you interested in advocating for GP registrars, contributing to communications, participating in educational opportunities and program functions key to the transition period into and out of GP training?
Opportunities exist for Registrar Liaison Officers (RLOs) in the Murrumbidgee and ACT; Central, Eastern and South Western Sydney; South Eastern NSW; and Hunter, New England and Central Coast GP Synergy subregions.
Hours and time commitment for RLO positions are four hours per week (eight hours for the Central, Eastern and South Western Sydney RLO position). Some travel, mostly within the subregion, is required.
Criteria for the positions are outlined in the RLO position description and include:
- being an enrolled GP registrar with GP Synergy
- current medical indemnity insurance
- unrestricted motor vehicle licence (own transport is preferred)
- demonstrated experience or prior learning in negotiation and conflict resolution is desirable.
