Congratulations to former academic registrar Dr Rachel Turner! Rachel has had the final of four papers reporting the body of work she did in 2019 as an academic registrar at the University of Newcastle and the GP Synergy Research and Evaluation Unit on the prevalence and associations of GP registrars’ long- acting reversible contraception (LARC) prescribing has been published.

The paper has been published in the Australian Journal of General Practice:

During her academic term Rachel analysed ReCEnT study data and conducted a cross-sectional questionnaire study of GP Synergy registrars. This paper reports findings from the questionnaire study.
