The GP Synergy Supervisor of the year award recognises the dedication and on-going commitment to the provision of quality general practice education and training by a GP Synergy supervisor.

2015 Dr Dai Nguyen
The recipient of the 2015 award is GP Synergy supervisor Dr Dai Nguyen – a practising GP in Wetherill Park as well as a long-standing GP supervisor and Clinical Teaching Visitor.
Dai was nominated by numerous registrars for being an inspirational GP role model and his genuine, personal and selfless passion for teaching; going out of his way to find opportunities to teach registrars and help them prepare for fellowship assessments.
2014 Dr Alison Rose
An experienced GP from southern Sydney, Dr Alison Rose has (and continues to be) an enthusiastic, dedicated and respected supervisor to scores of GP registrars. The quality of her supervision and teaching is frequently cited by registrars, as is her willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ to assist and encourage registrar learning.
2013 Dr Cara Frame
The inaugural recipient of the GP Synergy Supervisor of the Year Award was Dr Cara Frame – a GP supervisor with over 25 years teaching experience. A practising GP at the Redfern Aboriginal Medical Service, this award recognises her ongoing commitment to general practice education and teaching approach.
