2019 National Registrar Survey

Home / 2019 National Registrar Survey

You may have received an email inviting you to participate in the National Registrar Survey (NRS).

Each year the Australian Government commissions an external research company to conduct the National Registrar Survey (NRS). The NRS is a survey of all GP registrars training on the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program. It helps assure the quality of the program and provides information to the Department of Health, regional training organisations (RTOs) and Colleges to monitor and improve registrars’ education, training, and experience.

As an RTO GP Synergy is committed to the continuous improvement in the training of doctors in the AGPT program. We strongly encourage you to participate. The survey takes an average of 11 minutes to complete.

Your participation in the 2019 NRS is important. The NRS has been conducted annually for the past 15 years and provides aggregated information to GP Synergy, your College and the Department of Health that is used to monitor and improve GP registrars’ education, training, and experience. The results from the NRS feed directly into GP Synergy’s key performance indicators.

By participating in the NRS, you have the opportunity to provide feedback specifically on your experience as a GP registrar, and your experience in the AGPT program. Your response will make an important contribution to improving the AGPT program into the future.

The results from the 2018 NRS are available here: http://www.agpt.com.au/GP-registrars/National-Registrar-Survey
