GP Synergy is delighted to announce that applications for the 2016 GP Synergy Medical Student Scholarship Program are now open and close 5 October (for students at UWS, UNE and UND) and 30 October for students at UNSW and USYD.
Now in its fourth year, GP Synergy is again offering two scholarships at each of the universities located within our boundaries (UND, UNE, UNSW, USYD and UWS) for students to explore general practice and general practice research.
Successful recipients will receive $2,000 to support their medical studies. In return, they will be required to participate in a general practice research project in-conjunction with their university’s academic GP unit (or equivalent) and undertake a general practice community placement.
The scholarship program provides a unique platform for medical students to meaningfully explore opportunities available in academic general practice and the general practice profession, or further an existing interest in these areas.
